This post is based on ala carte menu by Aroma Dining’s. All orders were recommended by the waiter.

Food:

Food ain’t great, SERVICE WAS WORSE!

Iberico Ribs (RM142) was a complete joke. At least 75-80% was fat. I had to hunt for meat within the 1kg ribs. Almost felt like I was having fat for dinner. Could barely taste the meat because all I tasted was fat.

Complained to the manager and he came back with “I’ll offer you a discount” (continue at Service) and even when I rejected and asked for a replacement, he said all the ribs are the same as they’re from the supplier and they don’t get to choose. What nonsense is this??? They knew that the ribs were way too fatty, yet they dare to serve customers? I don’t need your discount, I just want my ribs done right!

Lamb Sausage (RM38) was yet another joke. It was my first time encountering bones in my sausage. Not one, but two! Spoken to the waiter (before the ribs incident), no feedback, no replies from the chef! This is the epitome of SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The pastas here are nothing to shout about too.

Spaghetti Napoletana (RM33) with barely any pork sausage but pasta was aldente. Still, nothing extraordinary, can just cook this at home.

Spaghetti Carbonara (RM42) was rich and creamy, but not WOW.

Mushroom Soup (RM22.50) was creamy but bland. It had mushroom aroma but lacked flavour.

Tiramisu (RM25) had such horrible presentation I lost my appetite. It was very soggy too.

Green Tea Marjolaine (RM25) barely had any green tea taste, the chocolate on the edges tasted cheap. But this was better than the Tiramisu.

Service:

I insisted on being charged full price because I don’t need their RM30 DISCOUNT. And the manager said they already key in so cannot change. Couldn’t replace my food, said to offer discount but clearly very insincere!

Ambience:

Comfortable and clean dining area.

Disclaimer:

Been here 2 years ago and they were okay. What a shame.
