This post is based on ala carte menu by El Meson Cafe Deli. All orders were recommended by the waiter.

Food:

Paella Mariscos (RM88) was a tad dry (maybe because I didn’t add on the additional oil on the side) and lacked flavour. The Mussles, Clams and Fish weren’t really fresh.

Ultimate Pork Burger (RM19) + Bacon (RM8) was damn good! The party was juicy and very flavourful, would come back just to have this!

Iberico Ribs (RM108) was quite fatty but still acceptable. It was tender and flavourful, but not WOW.

Garlic & Chili Prawns (RM24) were fresh, juicy and flavourful.

Croquetas with Jamon (RM15) was crispy outside, creamy and cheesy inside but wished there was more Jamon (instead of just bits).

Chorizos (RM24) were nothing extraordinary but decent.

Loved the Apple Crumble (RM20)! Great portions, it was crumbly and not too sweet. Would come back for this 👌🏻

Chocolate Molten Cake (RM22) was rich and moist, huge portions too! (Couldn’t finish it 😅)

Service:

Friendly and attentive waiters. Told the waiter the seafood wasn’t fresh so he apologised and went to check with the kitchen. He said they received the seafood in the morning, but maybe there’s something wrong with the supplier. Hopefully next round I won’t experience the same issue.

Ambience:

Comfortable and clean, indoor and outdoor seatings available.

Disclaimer:

I tend to have irregular eating hours but I’m glad I found this place as they were open throughout the day!
