This post is based on a combination of 3-course (RM398) & 5-course (RM558) Menu with supplementary Foie Gras by Enfin.

This is my second visit to Enfin since last year, and my experience is still as good as I remembered it to be.

Food:

Amuse Bouche - Beet and Caviar tasted like mashed potato and caviar in a tartlet. Aloe Nigiri was slightly bland and the rice puffs weren’t crispy enough. I preferred the former over the latter.

Supplementary Foie Gras (Goose liver, not duck!) was seared to perfection, the inside was very rich and creamy. Definitely one of my highlights of the night!

Hokkaido Scallops had strong black garlic flavour from the dressing but the granita on the side gave a refreshing touch to it.

Mushroom & Truffle Capellini needed a slight touch of salt to bring out the flavour from the mushroom sauce. Could smell the mushroom aroma but the capellini was bland.

Lobster Bisque itself was flavourful but couldn’t appreciate the taste of the Cameron Strawberries. Didn’t think they go well with the bisque.

New Zealand Lamb Tenderloin was MINDBLOWING. Unlike the usual Lamb & Mint combo, this one here tasted like Char Siew. Very tender and flavourful, slightly sweet but the Ikura balanced off the sweetness. I was impressed.

Wagyu Beef (MB6) had smokey flavour and was well-seasoned. Very flavourful itself, but tastes better with the “sambal” made from beef fat!

Malaysian Sturgeon was well-seasoned but meat was dry and rough. Wouldn’t recommend this for the mains.

Damak Chocolate Gateaux had rich chocolate flavour and wasn’t too sweet. Great combination of different textures.

Bombe Alaska was a combination of passionfruit parfait & lemon meringue. Creamy but refreshing!

Complimentary bread platter was good!

Petite Four of dark chocolate & mint was okay.
