This post is based on 2 5-Course Degustazione A Mano Libera (RM458++/pax) & 1 Italian Degustation Menu (RM238++/pax).

tried out both Menus, and they were both pretty decent.

Food:

5-Course Degustation:

(2-1) Hokkaido Scallop with Truffle was plump and well-seasoned.

(2-2) Cauliflower Zuppa was not too creamy, the mushroom and cauliflower added texture to the soup.

(2-3) Carnaroli Risotto was undercooked, it was quite hard but mushroom flavour was strong.

(2-4) Loved the chewy texture of the Sicilian Red Prawn!

(3-1) Cod fish was moist and well-seasoned but the tripe was slightly fishy.

(3-2) Cheese Ravioli with Truffle was aldente and bursting with cheese flavour!

(4-1) Upgraded the Tenderloin to both Wagyu Tenderloin MB5+ (RM68+) & MB9+ (RM128+, Featured). Requested for Medium-rare and both came Medium-well. Thankfully the manager replaced them for us and came back with medium-rare! However, the sauce didn’t go well with the steak. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great.

To make up for the disappointment & also to replace one of our mains (I ordered all 3 tenderloins), the manager offered us Maine Lobster 2 ways - Charcoal Grilled & Gratin with Mushrooms. This dish really saved the steak, because this was some damn good Lobster! Love the smokey aroma from the charcoal grill, and the Gratin was rich, creamy and cheesy! Would come back for this 👌🏻

Italian Degustation:

(6-1) Scrambled Eggs with Truffle (in an eggshell) was creamy and cheesy.

(6-2&3) are the same as (2-3&4).

Breaded Lamb Rack was lightly crispy outside, tender inside.

(8-1) Tiramisu was classic.

(8-2) Pistachio Cremeux was creamy and crunchy.

(8-3&4, 9) Complimentary from the house!

Service:

Manager put in great effort to make up to my meal. Excellent service!

Ambience:

KL Tower & Twin Tower Views. Indoor and outdoor seatings available.

Disclaimer: Prefer Marble8 even though they’re owned by the same group. The lobster saved the mains!
