This post is based on ala carte menu & off the menu items recommended by Chef & waiter.
I was offered a complimentary meal after my first visit to compensate for the experience, but I insisted on paying.
Overall quite decent (better than my last visit), but some dishes were overpriced.
Agnelotti (RM85) Ravioli stuffed with Chicken in Tomato sauce was good but the portion was very small. There were only 4 pieces of ravioli per portion and we had to order 2 portions to get 2 pieces each. The ravioli was aldente, the sauce was very flavourful and chicken filling was decent. But that must be some expensive chicken.
Salsiccia Pizza (RM65) with lamb sausage, additional salami and potatoes had improvement! Chef mentioned that he changed his recipe, so the crust was lightly crispy and the base was a lot easier to chew on. It was a cheese-based pizza so it was very cheesy.
Special Prawns (RM75) cooked in rich tomato base were okay-fresh. Paired well with bruschetta on the side.
Tentacle was very tender but overly salty. Chef couldn’t replace the tentacle for me as the whole batch was brined together and they all tasted the same. So he waived it off the bill.
Then he recommended the Panzerotti (RM33). It was crispy outside, stuffed with Mozzarella Cheese inside but portion was quite small (2 split into halves).
Cioccolato Dessert Molten Lava Cake (RM35) was undercooked. The outside was too soft, and there was still a chocolate chunk inside. Taste was good tho!
Beignets (RM40) was similar to stuffed doughnut. This was stuffed with pistachio cream. This was good but overpriced.
Chef offered a sample of Cheese & Pepper Pasta, it was very cheesy but the pasta was too hard for my liking.
Complimentary bread was slightly hard on the edges.
They offered Complimentary Drinks and Pistachio Sorbets 🙏🏻
Huge improvement from my previous visit (thank god it wasn’t the same waiter who served me).
