Pork-free, serves alcohol
This post is based on Nero Nero’s ala carte menu. All dishes were recommended by the staff.
1&2. The Seafood Pizza looked great, but once I took my first bite I was immediately disappointed. The crust wasn’t crispy, wasn’t soft, it was in the middle. Something like bread that has been left for 2 days (“masuk angin” texture). Taste of the tomato base and seafood toppings were fine tho.
3. Ink-Squid Ravioli (Off the menu) was the star of the night. Ravioli was Al Dente, topping, fillings and sauce complimented each other.
4. Whole Baby Grouper (Off the menu) was moist and seasoned well. It was large enough to share between 2-3pax.
Was supposed to order more but I was turned off by the pizza crust so I went straight to dessert.
5. Chocolate Lava Cake was legit 👌🏻 Taste and texture on point.
6. Tiramisu was their signature but I felt that the taste of cream overpowered everything else and barely had any coffee taste. It wasn’t bad but the lava cake was better.
One of the waiters had really terrible attitude as if I owe him money.
The chef, on the other hand, was friendly. I gave feedback on the pizza crust and he acknowledged it.
Italian interior, comfortable and clean. Indoor and outdoor seatings available.
Personally, Pastas and Pizzas are the basics of an Italian restaurant. There’s no point for me to go back if either one cannot make it.
