This post is based on Afternoon Tea Menu by 165 Lounge.

My Top 5 WORST Afternoon Tea places.

Food:

70% of the spread here cannot make it.

Sweets:

3 of the sweets were decent.

Yuzu & Lemon Tartlet was sweet and sour. Classic Sacher Square has rich chocolate taste, not high quality but decent. Profiterole (Cream Puff) was slightly soggy and filling was runny. Still acceptable.

The other 2 tasted weird, especially the Pandan Mango Verrine.

Savouries:

They were disgusting. Non of them were fresh. Felt like they were left in the refrigerator for days. Everything was cold, bland and dry. NO.

Scones tasted like flour. They were almost like bread texture and were very powdery. Cream and Jam weren’t even freshly prepared.

Peach Tea was nice, I loved the fruity and sour aftertaste.

Service:

There were almost no waiters around. Had to walk over to the counter to ask to refill my tea AND TO PAY THE BILL. One of them was busy playing with his phone and didn’t even bother to look around to observe. Food wasn’t great but service was WORSE.

Ambience:

Great landscape and comfortable seatings.

Disclaimer:

Thank god I didn’t order 2 sets.
