This post is based on ala carte menu by The Brasserie. All orders were recommended by the waiter.

Food:

Not as good as my last visit. Quality seemed to be inconsistent.

Signature Bouillabaisse (RM88) had rich and thick seafood soup, juicy lobster but the fish was fishy.

Beef Tenderloin Tartar (RM108) had very strong taste of Worcestershire sauce. Gets “jelak” after a few bites so suggest to share this among a few people. Preferred the Red Tuna Tartar over this.

Cube Roll Ribeye Steak (RM228) was cooked perfect Medium-rare and well-seasoned. This steak here was better than most of the steakhouses in KL from my latest experiences.

Lamb Rack (RM178) was requested for Medium but came out Medium-well. Sent it back to the kitchen and the replacement came out Medium! However, this was slightly under-seasoned.

Signature Chocolate Coulant (RM38) was quite hard and dry on the sides. Cut through and realised it was slightly overcooked so there wasn’t much chocolate oozing out but the chocolate tasted good.

Didn’t enjoy the White Chocolate & Raspberry Brownie (RM28). The raspberry brownie was very dry and I didn’t like the taste of it. The best part of the dessert was the white chocolate.

Service:

Still friendly and attentive despite the full-house on a public holiday.
