This post is based on Autumn Chrysanthemum Lunch Menu (RM238/pax) by Yun House.
Overall the quality was great, but thought the set was slightly overpriced.
Chef’s Special Trio Dimsum of Chicken & Seafood Dumpling, Crystal Shrimp Dumpling and Crispy Yam Puff. All packed with flavourful fillings!
Hokkaido Scallop with Ramen was my favourite course! Ramen had springy texture, the Chili had a strong punch but not overly spicy and the scallop was juicy. Wish I had more ramen!
Fried Egg Noodles with Prawn had great flavour & Charcoal aroma but was too plain. Would’ve preferred more filling to go with the noodles.
Upgraded the Vegetable Course to their Signature Stir-fry Beef Tenderloin (RM40/set). Beef was very flavourful and tender!
Braised Fish Maw Soup with Sea Cucumber, Dried Scallop & Mushroom was slightly thick and rich, lots of shredded scallops and sea cucumber!
Assorted Fruits Snow Skin Dumpling had thin skin, generous berries and cream filling.
Almond Cream with Yam Paste & Gingko Nuts tasted decent but was too thick for my liking.
Added on my favourite Bird’s Nest Egg Tart (RM32) & Abalone Pastry (RM45) to finish!
Manager offered Complimentary Signature Deep Fried Eggplant, Crispy Salmon Fish Skin & New Selection of Almond Cookies!
